Over 70 people came through the Flack Manor gates on Saturday 7th July to enjoy Flack Banger Day, Flack’s refreshing and eclectic mix of locally reared bangers with veggie options, award-winning real ales and premium craft beer, homemade Black Jack ice cream, live folk music performed by the Cuckoo Quartet and dancing by the King John Morris Men of Winchester.
In addition, there were regular informative brewery tours with generous beer samples in the deliciously cool brewery, as temperatures soared and anticipation grew with the impending England game. Some people knew how to continue having a good time and took a Flack’s Gold Mini Keg back with them.
Flack Banger Day was part of the Hampshire Fare Food & Drink initiative which runs every July to encourage local producers to open their doors to the public – new friends and old friends alike.
We’d like to thank our visitors and our talented local performers for supporting the event and for contributing to the easy, relaxed vibe (although our Morris Men may agree to differ, dancing hard & skillfully in the heat of the day!). If you did enjoy your day, please make the time to leave a review on Facebook or on Google Reviews (search ‘Flack Manor’ on Google & look to Google Places on the right).
