The great thing about winter is that you can indulge in a rich porter ale. What exactly is a porter? An infamous history surrounds porter ale, yet how it is brewed today and the end taste is one open to interpretation by the brewer. Flack’s answer lies in Black Jack Porter; a beautiful dark ruby porter, carrying with it aromas of toasted malts and lingering after notes of hazelnut.
Black Jack is one of Flack’s seasonal ales only available throughout the winter months – November until the end of February. It is stocked in many pubs throughout Hampshire and surrounding counties and is available in bottles from the ‘Flak’ Shack brewery shop on site.
