John was making a TV series about Francis Frith who toured the country in the latter half of the 19th century taking over 365,000 photographs. Each episode will focus on four storylines, all inspired by a Frith photo. Over the series, 40 of Frith’s best images will be showcased, demonstrating his remarkable endeavour to visually capture Britain on camera, along with another 40 new ones which John will take himself.
Britain’s first photo album will be broadcast on BBC2 at 6.30pm starting on the 12 March 2012 and then each weekday until 23 March. We appear in episode 4 on Thursday 15 March , and are also featured in the accompanying book.
