It is week two of the Romsey Festival and our ale brewed specially for the event – Romsey Festival Brew 17 – has been going down a treat. With a variety of outside events and picnics throughout the Festival, it makes a perfect addition to the picnic spread and is in the true spirit of the Festival.
Our special festival event on 6th July – a brewery tour in support of Jane Scarth House – was sold out and we’d like to share some of the photos – courtesy of Romsey Festival who came to the event to take photographs. More photos are on our Facebook page.
Festival Chairman Dick Hewett said:
“We’re so pleased to have Flack Manor involved in the Festival in this unique way. There has been a long tradition of brewing in Romsey and a special brew to celebrate the Festival is a fitting initiative.”
Brew 17 is described as “A pale refreshing golden ale bursting with the aromas of summer using only English hops from the revered classic Goldings to the hedgerow varieties of First Gold and Cascade, complemented by English Chinook, giving a rounded citrus grapefruit flavour with a smooth integrated bitterness.”
